These Air Fryer Stuffed Mushrooms with Ground Turkey are a delicious and healthy weeknight meal, featuring lean protein and savory flavors. Perfect for a busy family, they are quick to prepare and easy to cook in an air fryer.
Ingredients
16–20 large Cremini or Button Mushrooms
1/2 lb Ground Turkey
3 cloves Garlic, minced
1/4 cup Onion, finely diced
1/4 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
2 tbsp Cream Cheese, softened
2 tbsp Breadcrumbs or Almond Meal
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
Salt and Pepper, to taste
1 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems. Finely chop half the stems
- Heat a skillet with olive oil, add ground turkey, onions, and chopped mushroom stems. Cook until turkey is browned and onions are translucent
- Stir in garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, cream cheese, and half of the parmesan until well combined
- Stuff the mixture into cleaned mushroom caps and top with remaining parmesan and breadcrumbs
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Air fry mushrooms for 8-10 minutes until tender and golde
- Garnish with parsley and serve hot
Notes
Do not soak mushrooms in water; wipe them with a damp cloth instead. Make sure to use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
