These Beef and Broccoli Stir-Fry Tacos represent a fusion of Chinese and Mexican cuisines, combining tender steak and vibrant broccoli in delicious tortillas for a nutritious meal.
Ingredients
1 lb Flank Steak or Sirloin, thinly sliced
3 cups Fresh Broccoli Florets, bite-sized
3 cloves Garlic, minced
1 tbsp Fresh Ginger, grated
1/4 cup Coconut Aminos
1 tbsp Toasted Sesame Oil
8–10 small Corn or Grain-free Tortillas
1 tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup
1/2 tsp Red Chili Flakes
Instructions
- Prepare the sauce by whisking together coconut aminos, honey, grated ginger, and minced garlic in a small bowl. Set aside
- Slice beef against the grain into thin strips and pat dry
- Heat toasted sesame oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear beef for 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Remove from pa
- In the same skillet, add broccoli with a splash of water, cover, and steam for 2 minutes until tender-crisp
- Return beef to the pan, add sauce, and toss for another minute until sauce thickens
- Warm tortillas over an open flame, then assemble tacos with beef and broccoli filling
