Ingredients
12 oz Jumbo Pasta Shells (GF or Whole Wheat)
1 lb Lean Ground Turkey or Lentils
1 medium Yellow Onion, finely diced
3 cloves Garlic, minced
1/2 cup Low-Sodium Beef or Vegetable Broth
2 tbsp Tomato Paste
1 tbsp Yellow Mustard
1.5 cups Shredded Cheddar (or Vegan Alternative)
1/4 cup Fresh Parsley, chopped
1/4 cup Pickles, finely diced
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C)
- Step 2: Boil jumbo pasta shells in salted water until al dente, drain, and rinse with cool water
- Step 3: In a skillet, sauté onions and garlic until translucent, add protein and cook until browned
- Step 4: Stir in tomato paste, mustard, and broth, simmer for 5 minutes
