Description

Cottage Cheese Chicken Patties are healthy, juicy, and packed with protein, making them perfect for a busy night with family. This recipe provides a delicious solution to the common issues of dry and bland chicken patties.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb Ground Chicke
1 cup Cottage Cheese
1 large Egg
1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Onion Powder
2 tbsp Fresh Parsley (chopped)
Salt and Black Pepper to taste
2 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, cottage cheese, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper
  2. Gently mix the ingredients without overworking the meat. Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 to 6 equal portions and shape them into patties
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and sear the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through
  5. Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let rest for 2 minutes before serving

Notes

For a gluten-free option, replace breadcrumbs with almond flour or gluten-free panko.

These patties can be frozen for up to three months and reheated in an air fryer.
