Description
A fast and forgiving Garlic Butter Steak and Noodle Stir-Fry that's packed with flavor and perfect for beginners.
Ingredients
1 lb Steak (Sirloin or Flank, sliced thinly)
10 oz Noodles (Egg noodles or Udon)
4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
5 cloves Garlic (minced)
3 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Olive Oil
2 stalks Green Onions (sliced)
Black Pepper (to taste)
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to the package instructions until al dente, drain and set aside
- Slice the steak into thin, bite-sized strips against the grai
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak strips for about 2 minutes on each side. Remove the steak and set aside
- Lower the heat to medium, add butter to the pan, and once melted, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, then add soy sauce and brown sugar, stirring until dissolved
- Return the steak and noodles to the pan, tossing everything until well-coated with the sauce
- Top with sliced green onions and black pepper then serve
Notes
For variations, you can use chicken, shrimp, or tofu instead of steak and different noodles as per availability.
If using frozen steak, ensure it is thawed completely before cooking.
