Description

A quick and flavorful dish combining shrimp with a sticky honey garlic glaze that is perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb Large Shrimp (Peeled & Deveined)
1/3 cup Raw Honey
1/4 cup Soy Sauce (or Tamari)
3 Cloves Fresh Garlic (Minced)
1 tsp Fresh Ginger (Grated)
1 tbsp Olive Oil or Avocado Oil
1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes (Optional)
2 Green Onions (Sliced)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a small mixing bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Set sauce aside
  2. Step 2: Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels
  3. Step 3: Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, add shrimp in a single layer, and cook for 1-2 minutes per side until pink and opaque
  4. Step 4: Remove shrimp and pour sauce into the skillet, simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicke
  5. Step 5: Add shrimp back to the skillet, toss to coat and heat for another 30 seconds. Garnish with green onions

Notes

Use fresh garlic and ginger for best results.

Don't overcook the shrimp; they should form a 'C' shape when done.
