4 large Russet potatoes
8–10 cups peanut oil

Instructions
- Prepare the Potatoes: Peel and cut the Russet potatoes into even sticks, about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick
- Soak for Starch Removal: Soak the cut potatoes in cold water with white vinegar for at least 30 minutes
