Ingredients
2 racks Baby Back Ribs
1/2 cup Raw Honey
6 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
1/4 cup Coconut Aminos
2 tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger, grated
1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
to taste Sea Salt
to taste Black Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Pat the ribs dry with a paper towel. Create a dry rub using sea salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika, and rub it over both sides of the ribs
- Prepare a large baking sheet lined with a double layer of aluminum foil. Place the seasoned ribs on the foil. In a bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, coconut aminos, apple cider vinegar, and grated ginger. Pour one-third of this mixture over the ribs and seal the foil tightly
- Bake your ribs for 2 to 2.5 hours. While baking, simmer the remaining glaze in a saucepan until thick and syrupy
- After baking, carefully open the foil packet and brush the thickened glaze over the ribs. Increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C) and return the ribs to the oven for an additional 5 to 10 minutes to caramelize the glaze
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing
Notes
Use fresh garlic rather than pre-minced for better flavor.
Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs to ensure tenderness.
