Description

Loaded Asparagus with Cheese and Beef Bits is a delightful and comforting dish that combines the vibrant flavors of fresh asparagus with gooey cheeses and crispy beef bits. It's a perfect blend of healthy and indulgent, making it ideal for family dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb Fresh Asparagus
1/2 cup Beef Bits
1 cup Shredded Mozzarella
1/2 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  2. Wash the asparagus thoroughly, pat dry, and trim the woody ends. Lay them in a single layer on the baking sheet
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the asparagus and sprinkle with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Toss to coat evenly
  4. Roast the asparagus for 8 to 10 minutes until tender-crisp
  5. Remove from the oven and pile on the shredded mozzarella and cheddar cheese, then sprinkle the beef bits over the cheese
  6. Return to the oven for another 3 to 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and slightly browned
  7. Let rest for a few minutes before serving

Notes

For extra flavor, try roasting the asparagus with smashed garlic or finishing with fresh lemon juice.
