Maple Cinnamon Latte

  • Author: Sophie Hart
  • Total Time: 15 minutes
  • Yield: 1 servings 1x

Description

One warm latte with two espresso shots, a cup of cinnamon-infused milk and two teaspoons maple syrup.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Whole milk
  • 1 stick Small cinnamon stick
  • 2 oz Freshly brewed espresso
  • 2 teaspoons Pure maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Warm 1 cup whole milk with 1 small cinnamon stick in a small saucepan over medium-low until steaming, about 5 minutes, without boiling. Remove from heat, cover and steep 5 minutes; remove the stick.
  2. Brew 2 oz espresso, approximately a double shot, while the milk warms or steeps. Stir 2 tsp pure maple syrup into the hot espresso in a heatproof mug.
  3. Whisk or froth the infused milk briefly, pour over the maple espresso and spoon the light foam on top. Serve promptly; record finished volume and the selected maple syrup's sweetness in a kitchen trial.
