One-Pot Lemon Garlic Shrimp Pasta is a quick and flavorful dish combining shrimp, pasta, and a zesty lemon garlic sauce, all cooked in a single pot.
Ingredients
2 tablespoons Olive oil
4–6 cloves Garlic, minced
½ teaspoon Red pepper flakes (optional)
4 cups Chicken or vegetable broth
12 ounces Uncooked spaghetti or linguine
1 pound Large shrimp, peeled and deveined
¼ cup Fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon Lemon zest
½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated plus more for serving
¼ cup Fresh parsley, chopped
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant
- Step 2: Pour in the chicken or vegetable broth and bring to a simmer. Add uncooked spaghetti or linguine, stirring gently
- Step 3: Cover and simmer pasta for 10-12 minutes until nearly al dente and most liquid is absorbed
- Step 4: Uncover, add shrimp, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Cook uncovered for 2-4 minutes until shrimp are pink and opaque
- Step 5: Remove from heat, stir in Parmesan cheese and parsley. Season with salt and pepper, serve warm
