Description

These Simple Low Calorie Banana Snacks offer the perfect burst of energy for busy weekday afternoons when you need a healthy pick-me-up without the sugar crash. They are versatile treats that fit perfectly into meal-prep routines and provide natural potassium and fiber.

Ingredients

Scale

3 large Ripe Bananas
4 tablespoons PB Fit or Powdered Peanut Butter
1/2 cup Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamo
2 tablespoons Dark Chocolate Chips (70% cocoa) (optional)
1–2 tablespoons Unsweetened Almond Milk

Instructions

  1. Peel bananas and slice them into uniform rounds. For frozen bites, lay on a parchment-lined tray
  2. Mix powdered peanut butter with a splash of water or almond milk until thick. Dollop on a banana slice and top with another slice; freeze for 2 hours
  3. To make the baked cookies, preheat oven to 350°F (175°C), mash 2 bananas, fold in oats and cinnamon, and bake spoonfuls for 12-15 minutes until firm

Notes

Use bananas with brown spots for optimal sweetness.

Substitute powdered peanut butter with almond or sunflower seed butter if unavailable.

Consider adding a scoop of protein powder for extra protein boost.
