1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamo
1/2 teaspoon Ground Cloves
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1/3 cup Extra Sugar (for rolling)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two large baking sheets with parchment paper
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and 1 cup of granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes
- Mix in the egg and the molasses, ensuring to scrape down the sides of the bowl
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt, then gradually add to the wet mixture on low speed until just combined
