Ingredients
3 Large Eggs
1/3 cup Smoked Ham, finely diced
1/4 cup Green Bell Pepper, diced small
2 tablespoons Yellow Onion, finely minced
1/4 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1 tablespoon Unsalted Butter
1 tablespoon Whole Milk or Cream
Salt & Black Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of butter
- Sauté diced ham, onions, and bell peppers for 3-4 minutes until translucent
- Remove filling from the pan and set aside
- Crack three large eggs into a bowl, add milk or cream, and whisk until frothy; season with salt and pepper
- Add remaining butter to the skillet over medium-low heat and pour the egg mixture into the pa
- Use a spatula to push cooked edges towards the center, letting raw egg fill the gaps
- When eggs are mostly set but slightly moist on top, sprinkle filling over half and add cheese
- Fold omelette over the filling and let it sit for another minute until cheese melts
- Slide the omelette onto a warm plate and serve immediately
